Most of the materials pertain to Susan B. Anthony. One 1897 letter from Susan B. Anthony relates to Jessie Anthony's Aunt Susan. It also mentions Jessie Anthony's new home in Los Angeles, Calif., and, briefly, the California suffrage campaign. A 1907 letter from Mary S. Anthony explains that Susan B. Anthony left all her money to the suffrage cause. Both letters are on National American Woman Suffrage Association letterhead. A 1905 handwritten note begins, "Perfect equality of rights for women--civil & political--is the demand of Susan B. Anthony." There is a printed program celebrating Anthony's eighty sixth birthday (Feb. 15, 1906) and a postcard showing the Anthony homestead in Adams, Mass. There is also an 1830 document dismissing John Anthony from membership in the Society of Friends because he identified himself with the Hicksites.
